Let's start with this tid-bit: Ann Starr Douglas died January 31, 1862- Source- "Tennessee Bible and Family Records"-1998 Here's some more stuff: Edna Evaline Hunt- b. March 4, 1842 - Died Aug 31, 1900. I only have the one child listed, but have not seen the Census between 1870-1900. I have the 1880, but can't find Shelton anywhere in the U. S.. They were married Jan. 15, 1865 1850 Census-Wa. Co. Tn., page 220b: Nicholas Keefauver 42, Blacksmith, Dice 41, Mary 17, George 16, Henry 12, Shelton 10, Elisabeth 8, Nancy 6, Abram 4, Delila 1 - ALL born Tennessee 1880 Census- Wa. Co. Tn., page 543b: George L Keefauver 45, farmer, Lydia Ann 45, Alvin V. 20, Joseph D. 18, Dicy A. 16, Shelten 15, Elisabeth 14, Abraham 12, Julia 10, James M. 5, Debra BACON 72. Grandmother (really Lydia Ann's Mother)ALL born Tennessee. I can find no children for Mary. She is living with Sarhh in 1880, and no Children shown. She was 63 and Shelton 65 wheb they married. Yes, Deborah Bacon is the daughter of Jonathan and Deborah Barron Bacon. Nicholas Sr. had another son, John, who lived in Wa. Co, but died before the Census, or at about that time. He had a doughter named Mary, born 1831, She married a Ritchie. I'm related to all of these families through more than this family, so all of this is very interesting to me. If you have any more questions, let me know. I probobly missed something.
