Thank you for your message on genforum which I was interested to read on my return from holiday. I do indeed have military information about Percy William Keep and his brother Charlie which I have obtained from the Grenadier Guards and the National Archives at Kew. This includes service records, Percy William's MM citation etc. I would be interested in any family stories of the brothers and their experiences in WW1. Percy William is commemorated on the War Memorial inside St James Church Denchworth as well as in St Peter and St Paul's Church Wantage. He is also listed with Charlie on the Roll of Service on the War Shrine attached to the Fox Pub Denchworth. There are four other Keeps listed Fred (their brother) and cousins Jesse, Arthur and Maurice. I have been in touch with Arthur's son Roy. What happened to your Grandmother Elsie (nee Fletcher) she obviously re-married. I know from her husband's (Percy William) service record she received a pension of 15/- a week. I am also interested in a photo of Percy William and Charlie and wondered if you have one and are willing to send me a copy please. Charlie survived the war after being wounded several times - can you fill in what happened to him post-war? By the way. I have visited Percy William's grave in France and have photos.
