Dear Sharron, I'm glad you wrote to me.It's just amazing I decided to come see the message board, which I haven't visited in many months, and here you've posted the beginning of July it seems.:) I found William R Keetch and Sephrona Stairs information from the online new brunswick archives, in relation to the birth of their son, your grandfather, William C. Here is the notes for this record: "Archives. NB birth archives index: KEETCH, C. WILLIAM sex:Mb:1886 m/11 d/16 mom:STAIRS, SOPHRONAdad:KEETCH, WILLIAM R. location:LOWER SOUTHAMPTON, York Co. CD:10BK:3Page:145Num:11021FNUM: F14026."
At this moment in time I have NOT linked William R. Keetch to my tree. But I have a very high suspicion he is related because: a) He's from the exact area my Keetch's were located in York Co., NB at the same time period, b) I have at least nine known links with my KEETCH/KETCH family and different folks of the STAIRS family tree, via marriage or parentage. c) I'm an optimist.
Do you happen to know who William R's parents were?Or even Sephrona's parents?Do you happen to have any vital stats on William R.?I have many William KEETCH/KETCH men in the tree who are not linked to any marriages, but who could very well be your ancestor. Feel free to message me here or offlist. And yes, anything you'd like to share about your tree, barring living relatives until we can confirm a real link, would be just wonderful. Yours truly, Melissa Kluey
