Re: Kehm Family of Macungie & Salisbury Twsps, Lehigh Co PA
My Kehm ancestors lived in Butler Co PA, but I haven't come across the name very often and wonder if we might have a connection.

I've heard that the name was pronounced "Came".
Bernhard Kehm (b.1803 Hesse-Darmstadt; d.1876 Butler Co PA)
Christina Whitaker Kehm (b.1810 Hesse-Darmstadt; d.1871 Butler Co PA)
Children (all born bef 1853 in Hesse-Darmstadt)
John (m. Lavine Kroup)
Caroline (m. August Filges)
Mary (m. John Lowery)
Catherine (m. Nicholas Miller)
Henry (m. Rebecca Kammerbiener)
They came to America in mid-1850's and settled in Butler Co; The above-named children all married there, and I believe all of them died there.
Bernhard was said to have had red hair and blue eyes.I don't know anything else about their ancestry.
Do you think there is a connection to your Kehm family?
