No, I don't think your George (Georg) and my George Keiser could be one and the same individual. My Keiser tribe supposedly came from the Palatinate (possibly Bayern) and took root in Northampton County (Lehigh County today) in and around Macungie, PA. Johann Peter Keiser (1726-1804) was very active in the Longswamp German Reformed Curch in Longswamp, Berks County, and many "Keiser"s are buried in that cemetery. His son Peter (1759-?) took an early inheritance and moved his family to Beavertown, PA (Snyder County today)in 1801. His son Solomon (1786-1877) remained in Beavertown and later in Freeburg, PA until 1833. His oldest son, George (1811-1882) was born in Beavertown. In 1832 Solomon with his wife and sons (including George)moved to Uniontown, Ohio and Solomon died there in 1877. Solomon's second son, Lewis (1818-1886)moved from Ohio to Maryland with his family in 1874 and settled in the Bethesda area, Montgomery County, Maryland.
