Ronald Keith 2/12/12
There were four Keith brothers who left PA/VA in 1780 and migrated to Kentucky. The area of PA was around Washington County in SW PA.The area was claimed by Virginia at the time, with the boundary not settled until after the brothers left. Some of them were born south of that in what is now W VA.They were Henry, John, Alexander and William Keith, all born in the 1745-1760 time frame, sons of John Keith (1710-1780) of Maryland. They settled in the Bardstown KY area about 1781.Several of their children ultimately moved north into Indiana. You might try tracing some of them and their children.
