Dear Lauren: Thank you so much for your help! Here is where my confusion comes in:
My records (based mostly on family history) show that my gggrandfather, Joseph W. (b.1839, Summerville, GA), was the son of Martin, Jr. (b.1809, Fountain Inn, SC, son of Martin Kellett) and "Jeanette" (b. 1811).My records also note that Jeanette was a "cousin."
I also show my Joseph W.'s siblings as: William, Golie, Tary Turbert, James, Dunk, and John.
Other records I have read on Genforum show that it was Moses, not Martin, Jr., who married the "cousin" Jeanette.Granted, in this web of names, there could have been two cousin Jeanettes, but, right now, this is all I have to go on.
Anything you can offer would be VERY helpful. My e-mail address is TheCrossZoo@yahoo.com
