You're very welcome! The Kellow connection is to my husband, Richard, who is sat next to me as I type this!In answer to the question, re: red hair, although his hair is very dark (apart from the grey bits!) it has a lot of red tone in it; years ago, when he grew a beard, it was gloriously reddish orange, like Redbeard the Pirate.
We live in England, in Taunton, Somerset, barely a hundred miles from where the Kellows originated. We go to Cornwall every year on a sort of Kellow "pilgrimage", and will be going there again in May.
Would you like a copy of the Kellow family tree as it stands to date?Would you prefer that we sent it via email or snail mail? We're very happy to do either. If you contact me off-site with your contact addresses, we'll sort that out for you ASAP, and then you can learn about the other family names in your ancestry - Pomery, Carveth and Tapper, to name but three.
We would be very pleased to be able to see a copy of Maria's photograph; it's always interesting to look for family likenesses. We are also in touch with another "branch" of the Kellow tree in Australia; it makes all the hard work of research worthwhile when you discover long-lost relatives!
