Dear Kelly, I found the following on a different message board, i think ancestry.com: I have a Walter A. Kelm, born in Green Lake County, Wisconsin, a son of Herman. Walter's daughter, Imogene, married a cousin of mine. I would be happy to share what I know of Walter's family; for starters, here is Walter's obituary: Beaver Dam Argus, Thursday, October 28, 1954, page 3. Walter A. Kelm passed away Saturday morning, Oct. 23. He had been in failing health for several years. The deceased was born in Markesan, November 5, 1891, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Kelm. He was married to the late Emma Graff, November 3, 1915, who preceded in death just three weeks ago. He came to Beaver Dam in 1922 where he has lived since. Surviving are: Nine daughters, Mrs. Blair Burns, Elkhorn; Mrs. Guy Ralph, Prairie du Chien; Mrs. Clarence Frey, Fond du Lac; Mrs. Elmer Grueneberg, Mrs. Harvey Kohn, and Gladys Kelm, Milwaukee; Mrs. Milton Zenf, Salt Lake City, Utah; Mrs. Lawrence Heideman and Mrs. Franklin Arndt, both of Beaver Dam. Four sons, Alden and Ronald, Milwaukee; Wayne, Oak Grove; and Richard, Beaver Dam. He is also survived by two sisters, Mrs. William Woehke, Milwaukee; Mrs. A. W. Manthey, Markesan, Wis.; and one brother, Richard Kelm, Milwaukee. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, one brother and a daughter in infancy.
