Hope this helps for the Lillian A Kimpton question.
From Margaret Kimpton Stevens book (Sedgwick book updated with her family info).Noticed and mentioned to Margaret that her book (printer typos) had many errors.Noted them for her objectively. So take this printed info with caution.

Quickly, Ephraim (III) - Ephraim (II) - Ephraim (I).
Ephraim I and II sailed winter 1639/40 to Scituate, Plymouth colony, to widow brother Manasses, buying farm land for them ahead of time.Left London, during plagues of which wife, Elizabeth Wilson, potentially dies or deceased somewhat earlier.Knowledge of siblings to Ephraim (II) John and Annis unknown.Suspected that John sucumbed. Annis might have married.
Kympton/Kempton lineage traces as such:
George Kympton of Chiffield, HERTS/Berwick upon Tweed 3 marriages.(3) wife Mary Jersey married in London big cathedral.George dies in what is now believed to be all the nobility Grey/Seymour/Sir Walter Raleigh 1601-1603 time period, for attempted royal overthrow (!)He disappears from records, but Mary remarries into Essex, where we can't find her (as yet).
William Kympton/Kempton of Gravely, HERTS, Landed Gentry.
Robert Kympton of Walkhorne, HERTS, Landed Gentry.
William Kympton/Kempton of Weston, HERTS, Landed Gentry ... -SON OF- William Kympton of Shillington, HERTS cum William FitzAlan, 15th Earl of Arundel, Shropshire.
Both Williams living in the HERTS area before father gets called back into the nobility of the House of FitzAlan (ancient Norman surname) as 15th Earl.William said to die in late 1480s, same time period as Earl William.
Burke's Dormant and Extinct Peerage fills in rest of ancestry back to 1066, with most ancient entry wrong.
Read latest posting by me, on the Kempton name et al in another post of this date above.
Hope this helps you (all).
