Derk isn't Derk, but looking at a faded or crunched handwriting that is actually Dexter (De, crunched r for x,crunched ter for k).

In trying to find these Wrights I would suggest the Passenger Lists for 1840s-1863.This would list parents and children and where they originally resided.Otherwise, contact Nehama County Historical Society for tombstone information, any newspaper b/m/d and greater family information. Then KS State Vital records for her death cert.
I had to dig out a big bunch of info to get any further info on the Stephen Nye Kempton and Wrights connections in the Trimble, Athens Co., OH situation, leading up to Dexter marrying Sarah. One would contact the Athens County Historical Society for any further Kempton and Wright newspaper mentions (marriage and parental information), land records, ....I can't find Trimble and it may be an extinct frontier-farming township, renamed, or become a suburb of Athens city, Athens Co., OH.Searching through the soundex and census records of 1850, 1860, 1870, ... would find the Wrights and Kemptons together in Athens Co.One could then find the further Wright family information and notice the children's birth dates and where born, to locate a more exact immigrant year(s) to search.Trimble township and the Kempton family farm was said to be near Taylor Ridge, giving you a geographical mention to find this location in a census.
I have copies of the Kempton list.Contact me offline for further documents.
