Alice, yes it is T.J. of Epsom Early Settlers. I would like your additional info on Robert and John. I could not tell from your note, is Hannah a possible child of Robert and Nancy? I have come across this information from NH Name Changes. Do you think you can identify the families they come from?
January 1853 Harriet Elizabeth McDaniel - Epsom -to Harriet Elizabeth Curtis Thomas Samuel McDaniel - Epsom - to Thomas Samuel Curtis Robert McDaniel - Epsom - to Robert Curtis Jonathan Curtis McDaniel - Epsom - to Thomas Curtis
Earlier in Epsom July 2, 1831
William Keniston to William Johnson Jemima H. Keniston to Jemima H. Johnson Samuel W. Keniston to Samuel W. Johnson Elizabeth Ann Keniston to Elizabeth Ann Johnson Joseph H. Keniston to Joseph H. Johnsom John S. Keniston to Josh S. Johnson
It is kind of strage that a Keniston Family in 1831 and later a McDaniel Family in 1853 shanged their names, all in Epsom. Perhaps you have tried tracing someone. This source is not used much, so alot of people ma be looking for these people under the wrong surname. Anyway, I would like to figure out which families these are. I think the Keniston family above can be found in 1830 census, but not by 1840.
This McDaniel Family I do not find in 1850 census in Epsom, could they have been here a short time and have come from Pembroke?I have no clue, but I just found this stuff this morning and have not had time to check it out. Any thoughts. You can email me direct through the link at my website.T.J.
