Levi is on of the youngest son of Hans Kennamer of Kennamer Cove.He was a twin.He and his bother Zach (Zacheus)were born Spring 1798 probably in the Carolinas, maybe Pendleton Dist. (Old Dist 96) as the family is not believed to have moved into Kennamer Cove until around 1803.
Levi and Nancy Agnes Busby Kennamer had 14 children.They lived in "Still House Hollow" in the eastern part of Kennamer Cove.He was a farmer/distiller.He had a peach orchard on the side of Gunter's mountain which he made brandy from.He was in the Seminole War of 1818 and it is said he received payment in land about 2 miles fromGrant, Alabama.
Levi's wife was a sister of Jennie Busby, the second wife of Stephen Kennamer and first cousin to Kezziah Busby, who became the wife of Grandfather Jacob Kennamer.She dies two weeks before the surrender of Lee at Appomattox (Mar 1865).He died in 1848.
