It would be a tight squeeze for him to be the son of Moses and Abigail (Reed) Kinne between Jesse born Feb 1749 and Seth born July 1752, but it could be done, I suppose.According to the Voluntown Vital Records, Jesse and Seth were born in Voluntown, CT.If you think Isaac might have been born there, check the will of Moses Kinne of Voluntown 7 July 1788 Bk 8, p. 359 Plainfield Probate to see if he is mentioned.
I have Isaac Kinne/Kenney in my database as the son of Samuel and Lydia Kinne of born in New Ipswich, NH on the same date you mentioned.Samuel died during the Rev. War of small pox.Often the local historians have researched their county Rev. War patriots, and you might see what they have on him.
I did see what is probably your source from the Cortland Co records, i.e. the Biographical History of Cortland County. There Amos L. Kenney is listed as the grandson of Rev. Isaac, and traces back through Moses and Thomas Kinne.
Please let me know if anything come of this.I appreciate your response.
