The Will of John Baptist Kerby (died 1 Apr 1828), mentions bequeathing the land 'Batchelors Harbour' to George Kerby, son of Francis. It mentions this land as on the South side of Broad Creek and adjoining the lands of Dennis Lyles. Also, he gave his nephew, William Kerby, the land purchased from the Neals named FoxHall. He mentions other neices and nephews also with surnames Davidson, Moore, Neal. Unfortunately, my copy of his will is only partial from the microfilm. Even so, John Baptist Kerby was certainly the son of Richard, and this is strong evidence of Francis (who married Eliz Collard) as both his brother and Richard's son. If you have more info on this will or connection, pls contact or post.
