KERNAN.He graduated in Jefferson Medical College, Philadelphia, 1874; commenced practice in Monongahela City, 1874, forming a partnership with Dr. R. S. H. Keys.His health failed him, and May 8, 1878, he died at his father's home of that dread disease, consumption. (Tuberculosis was popularly known as consumption for a long time.)
