Ue married about 1837, to Elizabeth Meyers, b. 6-29-1817 in Orangeburg District, South Carolina and died in Mississippi, probably in Rankin County. She is buried in the Shiloh Cemetery in Rankin County. Children: 1. Margaret Eran Kersh; b. 1-6-1838in Mississippi. 2. David William Poater Kersh; b. 7-17-1839 in Mississippi. 3. Sarah Elizabeth Kersh; b. 3-25-1841 in Mississippi, d. 1-29-1915 4. John Andrew Washington Kersh; b. 11-22-1842 in Mississippi. 5. Wyott Curtis Webster Kersh; b. 10-6-1844 married A. H. Williams on 11-8-1883 in Rankin County, Mississippi. 6. Racheal Susan Kersh; b. 4-23-1846 in Mississippi and died 3-1-1852 in Rankin County, Mississippi. She is buried in the Shiloh Cemetery in Rankin County. 7. Candes Tanetta Kersh; b. 12-28-1847 in Mississippi and died 9-29-1913 in Rankin County, Mississippi. 8. Leah Nora Kersh; b. 11-12-1849 in Rankin County, Mississippi and d. 11-25-1910. She married Levi Daniel Carter 12-9-1884 in Copiah County, Mississippi. 9. Levi L. Kersh (female); b. 9-26-1851 in Mississippi. She married Henry S. Sproles on 2-3-1875 in Rankin County, Mississippi. 10. Theodosia Kenny Kersh; b. 9-18-1855 in Mississippi, d. 5-8-1903 11.
