I just wanted to bring to everyone's attention that there is a Kiley DNA site linked to www.familytreedna.com. There are three Kiley/Kiely's taking part in this site already. All of them trace their Irish roots through Nova Scotia, Canada. (Samples have to be from a male) All three families are quite early (18th-early 19th century) and each has descendents throughout Canada and the United States, including, Florida, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Pennsylvania, etc. We know the origins of one of the families is definitely County Wexford, while the others are gaining resolution, largely due to DNA testing. The more people who participate, especially those who already know their roots in Ireland, the better. I suppose in an altruistic way this would be more useful to other researchers. It's not cheap, but it is certainly useful. The more the merrier.
