I am working on the tree for one of Jordan's brothers, Allen, and found this biography of their brother Elijah quite useful.In particular, I was looking for information about Allen's son James.In this biography, it runs into a roadblock where it says James disappeared around 1860.That was exactly the clue I needed, because the James Kilzer I was tracing appeared in Mississippi that same year and I'd been having trouble figuring out where he was before that.
