I was very surprised to find that there is now a KINGREE family message board. I hope the Kingree's and their related families will join in so we can share information!
I have spent quite a lot of time researching the KINGREE line and have 9 generations confirmed.I have recently written a book about our Kingree line from the Shenandoah Valley.
Maybe you can help me. The original ancestor in my line who came to the Shenandoah Valley was Daniel Kingree who was married to Rosina. They brought with them their 6 year old son Solomon. They arrived in the Valley in 1766 from Pennsylvania. He signed several documents (in German) as Daniel Gingary, however the English version has always been Kingree.
I believe that Daniel is the son of Johannes Gingerich and Magdalene from Lancaster PA.Every bit of information I have points to this, but I have as yet been unable to confirm it.Can you or anyone who reads this query give me any information on Daniel or Rosina's parentage, their marriage date and location and the location of their firstborn, Solomon,b. 9/1/1761?
I would be happy to share with any Kingree'sor related family members.
