C.S. Kingston was my grandfather. His marriage to Hazel Ide produced four children; John, Elizabeth (my mother), and twins, Hal and Louis. After separating from his wife, Ceylon Samuel Kingston took his children back to the family farm in upstate New York. As a teen, Elizabeth insisted on living with C.S. in Cheney, Washington. My mother's stories of her youth in Cheney were wonderful. She married my father, Jess F. Baker, in 1942, shortly before he flew to England with the Army Air Corp. We traveled extensively before my father retired and I lost contact with family on both sides. Please add to or correct this posting.
