We are related. Oliver Kinlaw, bornMarch 24,1834, diedJanuary 12, 1902and wife Elizabeth Ann Wilson were my great great grandparents. Oliver's brother Eli was born May 1837 and I have his wife listed as Mary Jane Baggett, born May 1838 and died July 31, 1918. Her parents are listed as John Baggett and Elizabeth Brown. My Kinlaw lineage is as follows: Thomas MacKinloch(born 1740 in Scotland) and Rachel____g,g,g,g,g grandparents(name changed to Kinlaw by sons) James Kinlaw sr, and Levinia Thomas,g,g,g,g grandparents William Kinlaw and Emily Mills g,g,g grandparents Oliver Kinlaw and Elizabeth Ann Wilson g,g,grandparents Mary Elizabeth Kinlaw and David S. Wilkins g grandparents Jeanetta Wilkins and Enoch Lovette grandparents William Theodore Lovette and Sarah Mildred Ivey parents I am Brenda Lovette Thomas. Oliver and Elizabeth are buried in the old Kinlaw Cemetery in woods behind Zion Tabernacle Baptist Church near the intersection of Howell and Tar Heel ROad in Robeson cty. I have been to the churchwith the Historical Society, but could not find acess to the cemetery as it was summer and all grown up and needless to say, us ladies were "snake shy"...I hope to have my husband take me back this fall as I have a list of other Kinlswa buried there...no Eli as far as I can tell.
