Hello Charles:I am afraid I do not have much information on Charles’ brothers apart from the following.Taking Archibald first, he was born 10 Jan 1879 at Plane Tree Bank, Alexandria.He marriedJane Ferguson McIntyre on 18 Nov 1904 in Dumbarton.He had three children Margaret Forrest Kinloch, born abt 1905, George Kinloch born abt 1912 and Ann Turnbull Kinloch born abt 1913.Archibald died 15 Feb 1950 at Larkfield Hospital, Greenock age 71;William Turnbull Kinloch born abt Jun 1880, Bonhill, died 12 Nov 1880 at 150 Bank St, Alexandria of congestion of the brain age 18 weeks; George born 29 Aug 1881 at 150 Bank St, died 27 Aug 1926 Leeton NSW; Susannah Usherwood born 18 Oct 1883, at 150 Bank St, married Stephen L Wiggins 17 Sep 1913 at Drumbeck Hotel, Dumbarton; William Turnbull Kinloch, born 29 May 1886 at 1 Bank St, Alexandria,died27 Jul 1957 atLeeton, NSW married Gertrude May Robilliard who died 06 Apr 1974 also in Leeton; Adam Turnbull Kinloch born 23 Oct 1888 at 1 Bank St Alexandria, died 11 May 1959 in Leeton NSW.Once they moved to Australia (when?) I lost touch with them.I have a possible record for Charles (your grandfather?) from the USA Social Security Death Index, assuming he was born 23 Oct 1893, he appears to have died Jan 1966 in Ohio.If you could put any more flesh on the bones I would be grateful.
Moving now to Charles’ parents George and Ann Turnbull.George Kinloch born 17 Jan 1847, in Bonhill , a Joiner by profession, died 02 Apr 1905 at 33 Castlegreen Terrace, Dumbarton age 58, married Ann Turnbull 27 Feb 1878, 1 Bank St, Alexandria.Ann Turnbull was born abt 1849 in Renton a village near Bonhill and died 12 May 1915 at 33 Castlegreen Terrace, Dumbarton.Her father’s name was William Turnbull.
George was the son of Archibald Kinloch and Ann Davie, who had 9 children, three girls (Mary, Christina and Ann) and six boys ( Archibald, George, Charles, John, Charles and James).James was my Great Grandfather.I have data on most of the Bonhill, Alexandria and Dumbarton Kinloch families inc Births, Deaths, Marriages, census returns and some wills
