In the household was a daughter named Birdie L, age 10.James and Josephine were the parents of another daughter who married Clifford Homer Hufstetler (b. c1888).I am trying to find this couple in 1900.They aren't coming up on my index search and they aren't living nearby her parents. They had at least 3 children:Arnold L b. 1910, Helen b. 1911, and John Raymond b. 1919.Since this Kinman daughter was not at home w/ her parents in 1900, I'm assuming that perhaps she and Clifford Hufstetler had already married - but I cannot find them.
James W. is widowed and found living with Clifford Hufstetler and what must be his second wife Gertrude Barbara Adams (b. c1900) in the 1930 Gordon County, GA census. He is shown as father in law, thus my basis for believing that James W. Kinman is the father of Clifford's first wife.Additionally, in the 1920 census, Clifford's son Arnold is living with James W. and Josephine Kinman as a grandson.
Does anyone know who James W. Kinman might be - and more specifically do you know who another daughter than Birdie might be?
