I got this information from our local LDS Church many years ago. No where was a Peter Kinsey, Sr. mentioned.
This is exactly what was submitted(in the form of some kind of book).
The KINSEY family settled in Walker County prior to 1833, descendants still reside there.

Bonn, Germany (Americay-- HUFFMAN or HOFFMAN) 2nd Generation: Roland KINSEY b. 1790 bp South Carolina, wife Margaret ---- b. ca. 1788 bp SC 3rd Generation: William D. KINSEY b. 29 Sept.1815 bp Walker County Ga. d. 21 Dec. 1895. Married Sarah PRICE b. 1 or 3 Oct. 1822 d. 9 Nov. 1910. Children of William D. KINSEY and Sarah PRICE: Martha Caroline KINSEY b. 9, Sept 1840 bp. Walker County, Ga. Elijah Warren KINSEY b. 6, Feb 1842 Served in Civil War; William Washington KINSEY b. 10, Nov 1843 d. ca 1932. Lived near East Armuchee, Walker Co., Ga; Daniel Jackson KINSEY b. 10, Dec 1845 d. ca 1911; Margaret Rebella KINSEY b. 30 Nov 1847; Charity Jane KINSEY b. 9 Dec 1849; Mary Lucinda KINSEY b. 5 Dec 1851; Jesse Roland KINSEY b. 5 Dec 1853 m. Kitty Lou FUGATE; Julia Mississippi KINSEY b. 8 Nov 1855 m Thomas Hannibal TOWNSEND b. 7 Sept 1859, Pickens County Ga. Julia died 22 April 1924, Walker Co. Ga. she is buried in Center Point Baptist Church Cemetery,Noble Community North of LaFayette, Walker Co. Ga. Thomas died 11 Jan 1939 in Walker Co. Ga he , too, is buried in the same cemetery as Julia. (* these were my greatgrandparents.) Nathaniel Marion KINSEY b. 13 June 1859 m. Sally WALTERS; Rosa Adalade KINSEY b. 24 May 1863 m. Bob ELLISON; Lucy Ann KINSEY b. 1, July 1864. This information was submitted by Elsie Smiley Sullivan and I had the opportunity to talk with her before she passed away. She was supposed to send me some information about this family but I believe she fell ill and I never got anything from her except for a few letters with just a small amount of information on them.
