Hello Bruce, As it turns out STICKNEY is the confirming source on the ship "Mary and John". From page #23 "Robert Kinsman, or Kingsman, the first of the name known in New England, was a passenger in the ship "Mary and John," of London, Robert Sayres master, sailing from Southampton, England in March 1634, and arriving in Boston the following May." This part I already knew. What I didn't know was on page # 26 "The names of such Passengers as took the Oathes of Supremacy & Alleigeance to pass for New England in the Mary & John of London Robert Sayres master." Robert Kingsman is listed under 24th MAR 1633. It also goes on to state that prior to 1752 the legal year started on 25th of March. This is why Robert signed the list 24th MAR 1633 while another group signed it 26th MAR 1634.
