I'm descended from Orlando Cloud Kirkbride, son of David Kirkbride, son of John Kirkbride and Sarah Dorcas Shepard. Several members of my family has a condition called mandibilar tori and I'm trying to find out what side of the family it comes from. mandibilar tori is genetic and is usually in Asians and Eskimos. But it can be in other races as well. The bottom gums in the mouth began to thicken when a person reaches adulthood. A dentist told one of my children who has it, that it was genetic and she wouldn't be able to wear denture unless the bone was shaved off. Is there anyone in this particular Kirkbride family that has this problem?
