I must agree with Miss Mattie Lee Cooley, excellent genealogist, that Edward Kirksey of Orange County and Rebecca Rickman, daughter of Thoms Rickman of Halifax County, VA, are the parents of Christopher Kirksey.She states that, in her opinion, there is no other man who could be the husband of Rebecca Rickman and the father of Christopher Kirksey, his brothers, and sister.
