Virginia - I'm pasting my email in its entirety due to getting failed mail at the listed email address for you:
You still out there??This is James T. (Jim) Newell.I have recently done an extensive bit of work on various Kizzih/Kizzire branches concerning those who are descendants of Robert Boyd's daughters Polly (Boyd) Kizzire and Elizabeth (Boyd) Kizziah. You might recall that I am descended from his daughter Sarah (Boyd) Newell so I have been trying to "clean up" Robert Boyd's descendant lines. I believe I have your line fairly close based on your GenForum posting of way back in Nov 2000 but there are a couple holes - disconnects.Would you be willing to trade some info with me?? You said your mother was Sarah Frances (Kizziah) Smith.I have identified Sara Kizziah born ca1918 as d/o John T. and Alice M. Kizziah. You say your grandfather is John Thomas Kizziah.I have John T. born Dec 1878 from the census data. I also have identified John T. as s/o Jesse and Margret Kizziah. You say your gtgrandfather is Jesse Washington and I have Jesse born Mar 1857 from census data. However I can't make the connection from Jesse to Thomas Addison Kizziah.Do you have something concrete to go on? Now Thomas Addison born May 1822 based on census data is s/o William M. Kizziah, Sr. who would be the father-in-law of three Boyd daughters; Polly, Sarah, and Elizabeth and possibly the father-in-law of Robert Boyd's son William W. Boyd who married 1st to Susan Kizziah.I've not been able to identify her any farther than the Tuscaloosa Co. marriage record listing her name. The others you mentioned; I can identify Nolan and Earl C. as sons of Alex c. and Mary Kizziah but I cannot establish the connection of Alex C. to Thomas Addison.Do you have something concrete on this connection? On the 1880 census for Thomas Addison is an unnamed son entered as "Babe" born ca1877 which is close to Alex C.'s census date given as May 1878. Anxious to hear from you.Regards, Jim N.
