From the Healdton Herald published at Healdton, Carter Co., Oklahoma: August 4, 1964 Long Illness Fatal to Pioneer City Resident Funeral services were held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at the Pentecostal Holiness Church for Mrs. EDDIE BELL KLINGENBURG, 74, longtime resident of Healdton, who died at the family home, following an extended illness. Rev. FRED HYDER of Wilson conducted the service, assisted by Rev. C. E. MEANS of the local Pentecostal Holiness Church. Burial at Mt. Olive was arranged by Collier-Reser Funeral Home. Several out of town relatives and friends attended the service.
EDDIE BELL KLINGENBURG was born July 1, 1884 in Montague County and died July 30, 1964. She had lived in this area over 40 years and was preceded in death by her husband. She is survived by four sons, CECIL, ANDREW, ALBERT and J. C. of Healdton; two daughters, Mrs. LOLA PARKER of Healdton and Mrs. LENA WOOD of Baytown, Texas; three sisters, Mrs. LOLA KENNEDY of Healdton, Mrs. AMERICA PRICE of Pumpville, Texas and Mrs. MINNIE MASSEY of Brush, Colorado; 22 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
