L. Polk and Co.'s City of Superior Directory.Born Jun 1883 in WI, she was the daughter of a brewer, Johann "John" Adam Klinkert, born Sep 1849 in Germany; and Emilie "Amelia" Pabst, born Sep 1850 in Germany.In 1901 she was employed as a bookkeeper by the Klinkert Brewing & Malting Co.
