Jacob Klotz Immigration & Descendent Confusion
I've been researching the Klotz family history lately and I believe I am a descendent of Jacob Klotz of Lowhill Township, Lehigh County, PA. I am confused with the immigration of Jacob Klotz, so if anyone with decent information out there can help that would be appreciated. (I read some of the old debates on here from 10 years ago but they caused the confusion.)
I am also of knowledge that Jacob Klotz had two sons named John and Caspar. I know that John had four sons but Caspar is in the dark.
I need to find a connection to one of John or Caspar's sons with Monroe Klotz. Monroe Klotz is my GGGG Grandfather who was born in Lowhill Township in 1835. Any help would be also appreciated!
I am also guessing that seeing that the Klotz's mostly are from southern Germany that there is some link between Jacob Klotz and the violin maker Matthias Klotz. Matthias Klotz had six children and they had many children of their own. If anyone also has any information on Matthias Klotz's children, grandchildren that would also be appreciated.
Hopefully any responses to this will be helpful to everyone and thank you all in advance!
