John Hayslip mentioned above was the brother-in-law to James and Nancy. He married their 1/2 sister Cynthia Knight.Arrington Phillips is related somehow as he was living near John Hayslip's relatives when he purchased the Cofield Knight estate from Nancy and Cynthia. He might have bought the other parts but I haven't requested those deeds to see if he bought James' part also. There is supposed to be a cemetery on the land Cynthia sold in Lee County with Cofield Knight buried on it.

I have another brother Thomas who dies in 1852 in Dooly but no further info on his line. There are also 3 other sisters I can't account for as Coffield has them on the 1820 census.
Looks like our Knight went from Greene to Jefferson to Dooly to Lee Counties with Nancy, Cynthia, and James going on to Baker/Miller Co GA.Later Nancy and Cynthia came to Bastrop Texas, about 1871, with their kids.
Coffield is the son of Robert Knight Jr and Bethany Merrit.

And I do hereby charge and require all officers civil and military, belonging to this State, to be aiding and assisting in apprehending the said Hezekiah Goff, so that he may be brought by a due course of law, to answer the charge against him.
Given under my hand, and the Great Seal of the State, at the State House in Louisville, this twenty-eighth day of February, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and five, and of the Independence of the United States of America the twenty ninth.
