My name is Ronald Nicely and we are most likely related. I have completed many DNA tests and have matche with Knisley family members. The DNA of the Knisely males is in the J2b haplogroup and that originated in the Fertile Crescent (Bible Lands) area about 10,000 BC. Somewhere around the year 1300 our family line ended up in Switzerland. So we were basically of Arab descent which is where we get our darker completion. My family also has the same darker complexion. The J2 basic DNA began in Anatolia (Turkey) 15,000 to 22,000 years ago and many of the Knusli (or other arious spellings including Knisley and Nicely) males and some females have a bump on the back of their skull just above where the spine enters the skull. This is called an Anatolia bump which is a trait that developed in that area of the world. If you or one of your brothers or fathers has this bump, you are most likely related to me. I have a lot of information on the family line. Contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org. I may have a link to our family line for you.
