I am not descended from KNOBLOCH.In fact, I'm getting rather far afield, but I have an obsession for filling out family group sheets.;-)
I do not need photocopies of any documents, but thank you for offering.I was just looking for the data, and I would be satisfied with citations.I found W.C.'s death notice in "The Atlanta Constitution," but I did not find the notice of Margaret's death. My understanding is that they're buried in Rose Hill Cemetery.Correct?
My connection is through W.C.'s son, Harold/Harry.W.C.'s sons, Harry and Jules Rival KNOBLOCH, are together and unmarried in the 1920 census of Fallon, Churchill Co., NV.By 1830, Jules is married and living in New York City.Harry stays in Nevada and marries Theodocia Delight WILLIS, sister of my maternal grandmother. What I have, including documentation, is online at my web site in the form of linked family group sheets. You can hook into them from W.C.'s page:

My biggest question is where was W.C. in the 1880 census? And, for that matter, Frederika and his sister, Elizabeth?I have looked and looked and, at least based on the index at the LDS web site, I cannot find them.
My other confusion stems from items in the "Atlanta Constitution" (these are abstracted at my web site and linked to W.C.'s family group sheet.).One on 23 Sep 1883, states that Wm. KNOBLOCK is in charge of the pastry at the The Brown House hotel, and that he was "late of the Metropolitan hotel, New York City..."Yet, in his obit on 18 Jul 1901, the paper says he had "come to Macon from Buffalo when quite young."Can you reconcile the two statements?
