Hi, Curtis, Well, of course, I was only replying to Terry's inquiry about James M.Are you in contact with her?I recognized this family as I had done census work for Deb Noeller, a descendant of Jeremiah/Jeremy (965). It is too much to type out, all the descendants, but I will give you an overview here and suggest you check your library system for ILL of Charles Stocking's HISTORY AND GENEALOGY OF THE KNOWLTONS . . . . and also George Knowlton's ERRATA AND ADDENDA of the first work because there are so many errors corrected in it (1903).If you have a great interest in owning the books, let me know.I also suggest joining the benetech Knowlton listserve. OK--there are three children of Lois, as I said: Sylvester (2472) m Maria H. Rowell and had six children, at least two dying young; Josiah (2473) m Rachel A Powers and had five children, residing in Cumberland, OH; and James Monroe (2474) m Olive Palmer and had four children. One of Josiah's daughters, Eliza (5034), married Job E. Greene (5050), son of Louisa Knowlton (2477), a dau of Jeremiah. The Greenes lived in Albion, NE. Only the daughters of James M. Knowlton are traced down to the next generation when they married Mr. Strachan, Mariette, and Altman respectively. No locations but census work on every branch in every year would probably allow you to track down the rarer names.Good luck.
