Hanna,
There is a definite connection with the Knoy and Lingle families. Adam LINGLE married Catherine TIPS bet.1805/1806 in Burke, NC.They had ten children; child #4 was Elizabeth J. LINGLE, b 1813, child # 5 was Adam LINGLE,b 1817. Elizabeth married Andrew Noah KNOY in 1839, Morgan IN.Her brother, Adam married Phoebe MYERS, 1840 Morgan, IN.I have no records of any children by Elizabeth and Andrew Noah KNOY, however if they had a child named Charity living with an Adam LINGLE in 1850 it would have to have been Adam LINGLE"s son, Adam who married Phoebe because his father, Adam died in 1847 in Morgan, IN.Perhaps you already have this information, if not, we at least know which Adam LINGLE charity had to be living with in 1850.Adam died in 16 August 1894 in Osceola, Clark, IA.Hpoe this helps
Richard
