Names Are familiar!! My grandfather, Julius Konrad from Kelme Lithuania(East Prussia)came to the US (Phila)1913.His parents and remaining siblings came later that year--Julius Danieland Augusta(Dubois) Konrad with Martha, Natalie and Henry. THIS IS WHERE THE NAMES ARE SIMILAR!!Julius Daniel Konrad b. 1854 had siblings:KARL, Victor, JOHANNA, Augusta, Alexandr(a?) and Elvira.Somewhere there was an Otto K. who lived in Kennewick,WA during WWII.My dad recalls that someone(an uncle?) settled near Chicago and that someone came to the US before his dad, Julius. Dad(Walter Julius K.) also remembers a cousin, William from IL who was wounded during WWII.DOES any of this sound familiar?I HOPE SO- We're at so many impases! Are your Konrads protestant? Do you know when and where they came from?-I wonder, was your name also the same as mine??Regards-------Virginia K.
