Looking for information about Johann Friederich KOOPMANN (surname sometimes given as KAUFMANN), a Holländer (independent dairyman) known to have been living in North Central Mecklenburg during the mid-1700s. His birth date and place unknown, but he appears to have married in the 1740s, or in the 1750s at the latest. He is known to have been living in Radegast, Mecklenburg, from mid-1760s to early 1770s. He may have died in Doberan, Mecklenburg, sometime before 1779. His wife's given names may have been Anna Sophia. I'm descended from his daughter, Magdalena Dorothea Anna Ilsabe KOOPMANN, who was born in Radegast in 1768.

WARNING: There were definitely two and potentially three other men who were named Johann Friederich KOOPMANN and who were also living in Northern Mecklenburg during the time that mine was. They were
(1) Johann Friederich KOOPMANN who married in Rövershagen in 1780 and 1793 (2) Johann Friederich KOOPMANN who was a Holländer in Blengow in 1792 (3) Johann Friederich KOOPMANN, an Einlieger who was reportedly baptized at the Lutheran Church at Wustrow by Ribnitz and who died at the age of 84 in the Lutheran Parish of Neuburg in 1833.
It is possible that #2 and #3 are the same person.
Any information about my Johann Friederich KOOPMANN would be greatly appreciated!
