I am not sure who Ludwig is. I do have a bit of Lineage for George Adam & Katharina Barbara Ammann Korb, both ancestor and descendant. George Adam did have a son, Henry b. 19 September 1821. My Heinrich was b. Jan 1829 in Lemberg, s/o Heinrich & Maria Elisabetha Sophia Walther Korb b. 1807. Heinrich the Sr, b. abt 1801, is believed to be brother of above George Adam Korb. But we can not find the proof. As you can see with Heinrich Sr and who he married, she had a sister Catharina Elisabetha Louisa Walther b. 1811, who was assumed to be wife of Heinrich SR until recent finding of passenger list that had birth of Elisabetha as 1807, where as Catharina Elis. Louisa was b. 1811. So do you see why I am hung up on the Heinrich you have with children, Adam & Jacob? Although I do not believe it could be possible for my Henry SR tobe there dad, I just wonder if there was another Heinrich. My mind is probably just working over time on all this. So as I believe they are all related it is just a matter of finding out how. I have some christenings for George's children in Evangelische Und Militar, Pirmasens, Pfalz, Bayern But not all of them. All of Henry SR kids were christened Evangelisch, Lemberg, Pfalz, Bayern, Germany and there is a Christian & Carolina Stein Korb family also haveing christenings in same area but have no idea how they relate to one another. And on top of it all there is a Adam Korb present 1834 for one of Henry Sr's children, Adam. No idea who he is either. As for the Standesamt I am trying to find marriage record between Heinrich Korb b. abt 1801 and Maria Elisabetha Sophia Walther (known throughout all records as Elisabetha).
I am to believe there first child is Heinrich b. Jan 1829 so I am hoping there marriage to be between 1826-1828 somewhere in Lemberg. I guess the church records are no longer in existence for years I need and was told there would be good chance the Standesamt would have a marriage record. Do you think they would be able to tell you over phone? I am just not sure how these things work in your country. I do appreciate your offer greatly but please do not feel you would have to.
Is the e-mail you posted in previous message correct? I will probably use it to write to you if that is OK? I think your English is just fine! I told my husband I would like to learn German and have come to know a few words. I can understand them by reading them but am not sure how to speak them alo
