Big old scrapbook full of memorabilia from about 1938 to 1944.Over 3 pounds of stuff. Most of it glued (a few pieces loose) into the big paperbound book.Book itself & the pages are falling apart. Appears the lady you compiled it was named Caroline Uczynska and at least in the beginning of the scrapbook, she lived on South 12th. St. in Reading Pennsylvania. Probably graduated Reading high school around 1940 - there is even a big class photo on photo paper.Looks like she was a quite vocalist & has a lot of clippings (including several of Caroline) & souvenirs from her performances all around Reading. Included is:Personal correspondence, greeting cards, school & travel items, etc., a piece of her mother's wedding veil, a dance card form Wyomissing Polytechnic Institute. There is a chalk or pastel sketch of Caroline - is damaged in center.Looks like she dated Edward Kozlowski.A letter of thanks from United Reading Appeal for the Relief of Polish War Sufferers.A few ribbons from a St. Mary's school.Ice Capades program.Program from local play/concert with local ads.Mu Iota Sorority items. Some items are entirely in Polish.
