I have an old scrapbook, probably bought at an antique store at some point. It is mainly full of colorful, cut-out ads for soaps and tonics", but there are two obituaries.
The first reads: "Died at her home, 49 Bennett stree, June 30, 1900, Rodah Kring, aged 67 years. The funeral will be held from the house Tueday afternoon at 2 o'clock." I assume the name is misprinted and should read "Rhoda Kring."
The second reads: "William Kring of this city, died at the Willard state hospital this morning. The funeral will be held at two o'clock from the residence of his son, William Kring, Jr., 36 Dennis avenue." Handwritten in ink is the date "July 3, 1901."
If anyone wants these obits for their file, email me, and I will mail them to you.
