In 1828 Anna Katharina KRIPPNER, the daughter ofthe deceased Johann Martin KRIPPNER, amaster cutter in Selb, Bavaria, married Johann Wolfgang KÜSPERT. Previously, in 1824 the couple, living in Selb where Johann Wolfgangwas a shoemaker, had a son Johann Leonhard KÜSPERT. The son’s name was KRIPPNER in the Selb birth record since the parents were unmarried at that time. I do not have information on any other children Johann Wolfgang and Anna Katharina may have had. The son, Johann Leonhard KÜSPERT, immigrated to the U.S. with Catharina Barbara ROGLER and their son Johann Nicol ROGLER (parents again unmarried) arriving in Baltimore on October 15, 1849. In later U.S. records they were known as Leonhard, Catharine, and John KESPERT. From 1855 on, they lived in Youngsville, Sullivan Co., NY. Leonhard died April 25, 1875. Leonhard and Catharine’s other children were Margaretta, Wilhelmina/Minna, Sophia, William, Henry, and Louisa. I can provide additional information about them. I am interested in any other ancestors, siblings, or descendants of Anna Katharina KRIPPNER and her father Johann Martin KRIPPNER.
