Name Custard/Custer/Custard are all the same line, using different spelling surname. The Addams name is not a misprint, [apparnetnly used to sort same name addresses in a locality.]
I studied this line for two years before giving up on it and moving on to something else. The family of William Custard and Sarah Swartwoot were living in the area of Trumbull Co., OH. Their son lived in Newton Falls, and the family of Benjamin Custard lived in Mercer Co., PA about 10-12 miles away.
Conrad Custer was the father of Paul Custer/Custard. DEED: Rockingham Co., VA, Book 6:113, Paul Custer bought 160 acres of land at Brock's Gap, in what is now Rockingham Co., VA. from his nephew, Conrad Custer, May 10, 1774, & d. in Rockingham Co., VA? about 1820, leaving a will of which his son, Richard Custer, Sr. was executar, 17 Jan 1824, but this will seems now to be lost. Children, so far as known; Richard Custer, Sr. b. in PA 1 Jun 1757; Jacob Custer, b. 15 Mar 1760,; Susanna (C) Lair, b. 1766, Conrade Custer, b. 22 Oct, 1771; Mary (C) Beggs, b. 9 Jun 1776; probably also George Custer, Sr. b. 1 Jun, 1778; possibly others.
