Clyde was born, 10 Mar 1886, to F.G. & Addaline (Hubbard) Kutzner, b. 1837, Germany & 1849, on the stateline between Illinois & Wisconsin, respectively. They were married, 17 Jan 1871, Kilbourn, WI. F.G. was in the lumber business and died in San Diego, CA, 1914.
Clyde graduated from Eau Claire high school in 1904. He worked for the John S. Owen Lumber Co., in Eau Claire, as an office boy and then assistant bookkeeper. Ca 1908, he moved to Clouquet, MN, where he was a stenographer for a paper company and a lumber company. Then he spent three years with the Dover Lumber Company in Dover, Idaho. In 1915, Clyde located to Billings, MT, where he was a wholesale lumber broker.
The 1930 Federal Census, Billings, MT, shows Clyde married to Nelle P., and having two daughters, Marjorie E., b. ca 1926, and Patricia L., b. 1930.
Clyde M. Kutzner died 4 Jun 1939, age 53, Billings, MT.
