I found a Pierre Belain d'Esnambuc at biographie.net/Pierre Belain who I think could might be related to our ancester Pierre Balan dit LaCombe. The website mentions that Pierre Belain d'Esnambuc was the third child of Nicolas Belain, Sieur de Quenouville et d'Esnambuc, and was baptised in Saint Quentin d'Allouville, in Normandy, on March 9, 1585. I find this interesting because Pierre Balan dit Lacombe's family came from a town with a similar name called Boulouniex, Quentillac/Cantillac, Cabilan/Chambelain, Dordogne. I further found another Pierre Quenneville m. 1646-06-18 in St-Nicolas, Rouen (near Allouville, Normandy) who had a son named Jean Quenneville m. 1674-02-12 Montreal to Denise Marie (Marie Deniau) on the FrancoGene website. It lists the entire family of Pierre Quenneville (Pierre Belain) who were baptised in St-Nicolas, Rouen, Normandy. Pierre Quenneville had a son Pierre Quenneville who was born the same year as our ancestor Pierre Balan dit LaCombe in 1647 at St-Nicolas, Rouen and his mother name was Jeanne Sacquepee which sounds like Perinne La Courrier.Could this be our ancestor Pierre Balan dit Lacombe who may have been baptised at St-Nicolas, Rouen but his family was from Quentillac (Cantillac), Perigord, Dordogne. The website mentions that Pierre Belain d'Escambuc came from a noble family but when I checked the town of Allouville has no mannoir for the Belain family but there is the Chateau des Balans, near Cantillac (Quentillac) and another place called Chambelaine near Boulouneix, Boulaygue.
