Good evening again.I love talking about this stuff.Anyway, our line is still here in Sullivan county, Mo.
Reason I asked about the Weaver....I know about the incident you are referring to. ....is that the Weavers here in Sullivan County also came from Morgan County, Ind. One of our Walkers married a Weaver and wondered if it was part of the LaFavor family. One of Isaac T.'s daughters married a George Weaver, and one of our Weaver's brothers was named George.not much to go on but havent found much either but census records.
Well, the family story is that there was a small diary hidden in a loaf of bread brought to America by the first Isaac. I was told that it is locked up in musuem in Indiana and not for public use or display. Also that it is written in french.
Like you, I would be intersted in that slice of life.
