My interest is centered on Sarah Lamberson, the daughter of Lawrence and Sarah Lamberson (see your statement re "Lawrence and Sarah had 8 known children"). My Sarah was born about 1817, in Smith County (based on your information). She moved to Perry County in her youth.About 1839, she married Levi Davidson, a Perry County farmer; she was Levi's second (or possibly third) wife. She and Levi had 8 children before Levi's death in 1851.Shortly after 1851, she and her 8 children, plus two older ones from Levi's earlier marriage, moved to southwest Missouri. On this trip, I am reasonably sure that she was accompanied by her parents, Lawrence and Sarah, as well as several other Lambersons from Perry County, including James and America and their children. It must have been quite a wagon train! They settled in the Rocky Comfort area, which is near the spot where Barry, McDonald, and Newton Counties meet.Rocky Comfort itself is in McDonald, so the cemetery you list is probably not in Newton. One of Levi and Sarah's children was Thomas Davidson (1845-1925).He is my great-grandfather.He married Mary Ann Harrell, daughter of James Fowler Harrell and Mary Ann Chitwood.Thomas and Mary Ann's daughter, Zona Davidson, is my grandmother. Most of these folks are buried in the cemetery next to the (Harmony?) Baptist church in Rocky Comfort, although some are a mile or so away in Barry County. Any further information about any of these folks, including correction of any errors, would be most appreciated.
