Linda:
I'm afraid that I do not have much to add about the Missouri Lamberson families. You seem to have covered the subject a lot more thoroughly than I have.I refer to your correspondence with Ruth Kent, with whom I have also corresponded in the last few days; she shared some of your research work with me.As you are aware, there were a lot of Lambersons in the Rocky Comfort area in the late 19th century.
My own interests include the Biggs family, who came to Rocky Comfort around 1870.The father was John Biggs, and the mother was Adisa "Dicey" Reed (or perhaps Rice).I believe that John Biggs was a native of Greenup County, Kentucky, and that Dicey was a native of southern Illinois. They met in Illinois, as John was doing the typical 19th century "Westward Ho" bit. They are my great-grandparents.
Thanks for your help.I am a total amateur on this family history stuff, but it's a lot of fun!
Dave
