Sorry to be so late, Mary Lou but here goes. Ethel Lambkin was born August 15, 1885 in Kenockee Township, St. Clair County, Michigan. She married Herbert Russell on October 30, 1903 in Brockway, St. Clair County, Michigan. Herbert Russell was born April 5, 1883 in Kenockee Township, St. Clair County, Michigan to Nathan Russell Jr and Elizabeth Martin. They had four children - Henry John who was born 17 January 1904 and died April 3, 1919 in Brockway, Michigan of pneumonia. My grandfather, Wilbur Charles born 4 March 1906 in Brockway, Michigan was only surviving child. Ethel had twin daughters who died prematurely of diabetes complications and she died 4 July 1908 in Brockway, St. Clair County, Michigan. She is buried in an unmarked grave. Herbert remarried to Margaret Patrick and had a son Harland Russell was killed in a car accident at the age of 21. Wilbur married Pauline Ruth Snavely August 24, 1929 in Monroe, Michigan . Wilbur was raised by his aunt Sarah Ann born April 24, 1881 in Ontario and married John Shannon on Dec. 12, 1900 in Brockway, Michigan and died Dec. 13, 1964 in Brockway, Michigan. Edna S.was born Oct. 8, 1900 in Brockway, married Charles Barnickle in Mindota , Illinois and had one son Charles Barnickle Jr. She died January 19, 1928 in Paw Paw, Illinois. I wonder if diabetes played a part in her death as well. Aunt Sarah was a good , hard working woman but not very affectionate so Wilbur grew up a very quiet man who loved animals.
